Overview
The EchoBeam® LR85 is a powerful, non-contact 80-GHz radar level sensor transmitter designed for long-range liquid and solids measurement. Unaffected by most media, process, or environmental conditions, it delivers reliable performance in challenging applications. Configuration is fast and intuitive using the LevelTap™ App, LCD interface, HART, or Modbus communication.

LR85 provides continuous level measurement up to 196.8 ft (60 m) for solids and 393.7 ft (120 m) for liquids, with a 4–20 mA output including HART or Modbus protocols. Bluetooth wireless configuration via the LevelTap™ App allows users to monitor level, verify status, and adjust settings safely from ground level or nearby structures. The sensor measures solids and liquids with dielectric constants ≥ 1.6, including pellets, grain, powders, aggregates, water, chemicals, and petroleum-based liquids. It is ideal for tall, dusty silos, bunkers, and difficult liquid process applications.
