Overview
The 263RS Series is a remote-sensed, direct-acting diaphragm pilot used with automatic control valves to precisely regulate pressure based on a remotely monitored system condition.
The Series 263RS Pilot operates using an adjustable spring force that normally holds the pilot in the open position. When the remotely sensed pressure rises above the spring setpoint, the pilot modulates toward a closed position. Conversely, when the sensed pressure drops below the setpoint, the pilot modulates open to restore the desired pressure level.
The control setpoint is easily adjusted by turning the adjustment screw—clockwise to increase pressure and counterclockwise to decrease it—allowing fine, accurate control. The pilot features 1/2" NPT inlet and outlet ports, along with a 1/4" NPT side sensing port that can be configured to monitor either upstream or downstream pressure, depending on the specific automatic control valve application.
